This film magazine cover is something I will replicate as I admire the way they feature the films either side of the main protagonist as well as facing inwards to give it a smooth and exciting effect. The predominant color is red which is very effective as the viewer's eyes instantly see the magazine title and film title without thinking.The dominant positioning of Leonardo DiCaprio holding the gun gives off a strong sense that it is action related.
When I researched film magazines I found that it was a huge industry in the promotion and advertisement market. I have picked and analysed three film magazines to research and practice codes and conventions before I create my own film magazine cover for my trailer.
